1 Peter 1:8-9 - Eternity Now - Coram Deo
Step 1: Pray. Select.
I woke this morning feeling overwhelmed with joy. I had to run an early errand, and as I drove back home to start my prayer time, the day felt light and bright, and I couldn’t help but smile to myself in my car.
I wasn’t sure why this day felt so uplifting, but I knew God was enjoying the morning drive alongside me as if a passenger in the car seat next to me, kicking back and enjoying the ride.
As I arrived home, the words joy, on the other side, and a new day were buzzing in my head. I began researching scriptures that applied and came across 1 Peter 1:8-9, which made me feel like I had arrived at my prayer destination for the day.
This is where my journey began today, friends.
Step 2: Write. Read. Circle
1 Peter 1:8 - whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
After reading the scripture three times, the following words stood out amongst the others:
Having Not Seen You Love
Him
Believing, You Rejoice
Glory
Receiving The End Of Your Faith
Step 3: Re-Write
With a focus on the words that stood out, here is the personalized sentence that came alive in my heart. Don't forget, if you are doing this alongside me today, make sure to add your name to your unique sentence:
Jennifer, having not seen, you love Him, believing you rejoice - Glory! The end of your faith.
Step 4: Visualize
As I meditated on the verse and sentence of the day from the Holy Spirit, I was drawn deeper into understanding what it meant to receive the end of my faith.
I have to admit I have always known I was saved through baptism. However, I never really contemplated what my Father was actually preparing me for in eternity. It is almost like I was telling myself that there is Earth and there is Heaven, as two separate entities. And at some point, Jesus will meet me and we will cross from here to there.
But after researching a bit more, as asked by the Holy Spirit, I understand that my faith is something that I cannot see. Living a life along the way as if I see what my faith proposes daily is equally as important as showing my faith on the day when the two worlds collide.
The Holy Spirit tells me that because you rejoice now as if you have already arrived in the presence of the LORD, you are already experiencing the goal on Earth before it is physically tangible.
The Holy Spirit brought the term “Coram Deo" to the forefront. Coram Deo means living in the presence of God at all times.
The Holy Spirit is telling me that as I shift my life and continue to rejoice in his guidance and live naked in front of him daily, as if he were present at all times (which he is), there is no separation. Therefore, I am already living in a glorified way that is pleasing to God—present but not perfect. I am receiving my end results before my physical end, which allows me to live joyously and freely while here on Earth.
Friends, I hear the enemy trembling because if we face the LORD every day, bearing all out in the open, acknowledging his is with us at all times, there is nothing the enemy can hold over us anymore. The enemy has no tactic to threaten us since I am right by the side of my creator despite my mistakes and shortcomings. I am with my Father here on Earth, there is no waiting for a time to come. It is right now! The more I spend time in my Father’s presence, that becomes my familiar, my home. This makes the enemy a foreigner in his own territory because I become more attached to my Father than the things of the world while I am in the world. The enemy cannot threaten to take away my eternity, which I am choosing to live right now. He can't take away what I have already been given. Now, if that isn’t something powerful to be joyous over and shout about, I don’t know what is!
I have a question, so I move to Step 5.
Step 5: Ask. Seek
The question that came to mind is:
Holy Spirit, how can I ensure I am always living in Coram Deo?
Step 6: Hear. Write. Receive
Here is the answer I received:
"Continue living in my word and witnessing with others. The more you seek the Father, I will come. The more you ask I will answer. Be the same, constant, and present with me. Those around you will see there is nothing to fear, only freedom. Help shed shame wherever you go. The more you are open, the more I will pour into you, overflowing, running onto others to receive. Keep pulling on me, and I will turn around and embrace you. This is the way and the place where Heaven meets Earth; like a bolt of lightning touching the ground, get ready to receive electricity that shines so bright it is undeniable I AM here. I will give you the fire of purification, allowing you to access more knowledge and presence than you have ever experienced. Then you will be my disciple, speaking the things I tell you and drowning out other voices that came when you were not close to me. Stay with me, and I will be with you from now to eternity.”
Step 7: Pray. Confirm
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus.
I am ready to receive your touch and connection stronger than ever before. Let me walk with you constantly so that others see you are alive within us and care for us at all times. Let me be a vessel and my life be an altar to your glorious work.
I pray you watch over me and my thoughts so I do not spend one more minute on the lies of the enemy. I am enough in your eyes, and I am already victorious and worthy of knowing you.
Please, LORD, keep me close, so I can continue to experience the end of my faith, which is not an end at all but the connection of a continuation of wisdom and peace that carries on into eternity.
I seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus - Amen!

Conclusion:
Friends, let’s not waste a moment being separated from God.
Let's stay close and show him everything without thought.
Let’s keep him alive in this kingdom so the enemy becomes a foreigner to all who inhabit this territory.
Friend, Father, Abba, thank you for this prayer time so that I can share this revelation from the Holy Spirit with anyone who is willing to receive it.
Go forward with God today! He is with you every step of the way.
See you soon.
